Today, on International Womenโ€™s Day, we honor a wo Today, on International Womenโ€™s Day, we honor a woman who helped shape not just a restaurant, but a legacy. Mrs. Chrissy Anthony was a pioneer in every sense of the word. In a time when the restaurant industry was overwhelmingly male dominated, she stood strong, leading with heart, conviction, and an unwavering belief in people. She had a way of making everyone feel like family, whether you were a guest walking through the door or a team member stepping into the kitchen. She believed great food came from great care, and that care always started with the people around her. But make no mistake, Mrs. Anthony was also firm in her standards. She believed in doing things the right way, working hard, and treating others with respect. That balance of warmth and strength is part of what built Sea Island into the family-owned business it is today. Her influence is still felt in our kitchens, in our dining rooms, and in the generations of team members and guests who continue to carry her spirit forward. Today we celebrate her, and all the women who lead with courage, kindness, and determination.
